T2 W10 Journal Writing : Reflections of SA1 Performance

Hi Everyone,

The SA1 is over. Some of us have done well while others have not. For this week, I want you to reflect on your performance in this SA1. To help you do that, I will list some questions for you to ponder over:

1. Do you think the SA1 papers have tested you fairly? If 'Yes', which papers do you consider to be a fair test? If 'No', which papers do you consider to be unfair test?

2. Why do you think the papers have been a fair or unfair test?

3. Do you think you have done well in this semester? If 'Yes', what factors contribute to your success? If 'No', what factors contribute to your poor performance?

4. Do you think the remedial or enrichment classes in school were useful? If 'Yes', why? If 'No', why?

5. If you have home tuition (either by tutors/parents/relatives/etc), do you think this has been useful in improving your results? If 'Yes', why? If 'No', why?

6. What actions would you take to improve on your results after SA1?

7. What actions do you think the school should take to help you with your performance after the SA1?

My answers:

1)Yes, all the papers except for the maths paper 1.
2)The time for the maths paper 1 is not enough.
3)I have not done well in this semester.I could have done better if I work harder.
4)Yes because I have learnt more methods of solving problems.
5)Yes because they teach faster and we can what is about the topics before school teachers teach us.
6)I will study harder to get good results.
7)They could give us more enrichment classes.

6. What other preventive measures are being taken to combat the spread of this disease in Singapore?

My answers:

1)It is a virus which spreads almost everywhere around.
2)It spreads by cough, sneezing and many more...
3)Some countries are Japan, Malaysia and China.
4)They should try not to go to other countries to prevent the spread of this disease.
5)Yes, because by taking of temperature will let you know your temperature whether if your temperature is high or low.You should not be in school but to be at home resting if your temperature is high.
6)Temperature are being taken before you can go in to some places.
7)I will wash my hands before every meal and use my hands to cover my mouth when I sneeze or cough.
